Ever heard of 
& Butter? Well you can hold the butter for us because we don’t need to be buttered.
Instead keep the compliments coming as long as it’s truthful & sincere. Which brings us to this point- Our society has become so accustomed to telling people what they want to hear, even to the point where these compliments become detrimental.
This carries forward to both in our daily lives and in gym. From the “oh you should have been chosen for (insert position/project, etc)” when in fact they know why you were not even shortlisted, to the “That lift was epic!” when it’s quite obvious there was issues with depth/prawning/full rep, etc.”
Which is also why we chose the name Bread & Bar. Because that is our basic need. We need the truth, this business needs the truth & we will keep spewing the truth in order for both of us to evolve & develop. As both an ordinary human, business owner, friend, colleague, family member & a lifter.
So keep the butter. We’ll take the Bread & Bar
